Stuck Brake Pads
Sometimes, during the journey of the Pulse from our factory to your home, the brake pads can become stuck, making it difficult to install the front tire.
This only happens with models with hydraulic brakes or when you buy the brakes to upgrade.
To remove them, you need to use the screwdriver that comes included with your ToolKit, on the flat part and carefully separate them. If the screwdriver is not thin enough, you can also use the handle of a spoon or a knife.
Insert the tool between the 2 pads as far inside as you can and begin to separate them moving from top to bottom. Once they are somewhat separated, still with the tool inside, you can press the brake handle repeatedly to allow the mineral oil to flow and open the pads.
You'll know you're done when you can insert the disc between the pads.
If you feel unsafe during this process or when it is finished, you can take your Pulse to a workshop.
