What you will need

  1. Replacement air chamber

  2. Valve Stem Removal Tool

  3. tire lever

  4. Floor or portable valve

Step by step instructions

      1. Deflate the tire completely using the tube.
      2. Take out a small part of the tire and insert the tire lever. Gently pull the lever around the edge of the rim to remove the tire from the rim.
      3. With your hand, pull the tube out using the tube from under the tire. Save it.
      4. Completely remove the tire from the rim.
      5. With the new tube, place the stem back into the tube with your valve tool and screw the stem back on.
      6. Gently inflate the tube a little to help it take shape.
      7. Be sure to orient the tire on the wheel so that the tread faces forward.
      8. Insert one side of the tire into the rim.
      9. Find the hole for the stem in the wheel and turn the wheel until that hole is at the top.
      10. Push the top half of the wheel through the tire to the other side.
      11. Insert the stem of the new tube into the hole and then begin to push the tube under the tire around the wheel. The tire will eventually sit loose around the wheel with the tube inside
      12. Vent the tube some more.
      13. Using the tire lever, begin backing the tire under the rim around both sides.
      14. Make sure nothing is hanging or bulging. Air the tire until it is firmer and put it back on your bike!
