How do I remove and install the driver?

What you will need:

13mm socket or 13mm wrench (included in your Pulse tool kit)

Step-by-step instructions to remove the controller

  1. First, unlock the battery and remove it from under the seat.

  2. Next, you will need to remove the seat by removing 5 nuts, located under the seat, using the 13mm socket or 13mm wrench included in your tool kit.

  3. Store the nuts in a safe place so they don't get lost.

  4. Gently lift the seat.

  5. Notice that the controller is securely taped and connected to many cables. Carefully remove the controller with all connections intact.

  6. Now unplug each connector, being careful not to bend any of the pins. Each connector respects a specific color. Some connectors pull out while others are secured, requiring you to hold down a small lever to release them.

  7. Once you finish the process, follow the instructions on your warranty to find out how to get a new one. You can review your warranty here .

Step-by-step instructions to install the driver

Note: When connecting your cables you will have one left over. Do not panic! It's from the lighthouse.

  1. Reconnect the cables following the pattern of the same colors. Be careful not to force any of the cables to connect.

  2. Take the black harness (the larger black wire) and plug it back in. Check that it is aligned by following the indentations on each side of the cables and the arrows, which should meet.

  3. Connect the wire with the red head to its corresponding wire with the BLACK head.

  4. You can't go wrong with the remaining black cables, just connect them to the corresponding ones.

  5. Organize and align cables.

  6. Stick the SPA into place, and watch for it to stop with the adhesive.

  7. Place the cables, organized, on the side of the controller.

  8. Turn on your Pulse to make sure everything is in order. Don't forget to put your battery back in and lift the rear tire of your Pulse.

  9. If everything works, put the seat back and secure it with the nuts.

  10. Remember to reconnect your headlight cable.

  11. You're done! You can now roll again on your Pulse.
