How to protect(you on) your electric bicycle

We get it: once you receive your Pulse you don't want to get off it. However, it is always advisable to consider some measures to protect your electric bicycle and yourself in your daily life. We share some recommendations to ride safely, without worries.

1. Chain
A lock is an essential accessory for any bicycle (or even motorcycle) in Mexico. They come in various sizes and shapes. If you are undecided about which one to buy, we recommend one that complements your Pulse and does not depend on keys. We have one here that you might like.

2. AirTag
For iPhone users, an AirTag can be a fundamental ally to have greater security when leaving your Pulse anywhere. Hide the AirTag under the seat and program it to alert you of any movement when you are away from your electric bike. If you prefer, there are other location systems that you can use for other platforms.

3. Insurance
One of the best investments you can make to protect yourself and your Pulse is insurance. Our Clupp insurance is one of the broadest on the market and covers everything from damage to yourself, your bicycle and third parties (or their property).
For around $300 pesos per month, you ensure that whatever happens to your Pulse, such as in the unfortunate case of it being stolen, you can get your money back and even purchase another one!
You can contract and manage the insurance online or from its application. In addition, it offers you exclusive discounts and promotions that you cannot miss. Find all the information and make your quote here .

4. Boutique
One item that you will be super happy to have on hand if something happens, and that will make you feel safer when riding, is a first aid kit. Bandages, gauze, a little alcohol among other items will be very useful in case of an accident on your ebike.

5. Helmet
Although bicycles (even electric ones) are not legally required to be used with a helmet, we recommend it at all times.
Depending on your style of use, nervousness and environment, you can opt for one that is more typical of a bicycle or one that is more towards a motorcycle. We always opt for full face helmets, as they are the safest. You can look for MTB (mountain bike) or DownHill helmets, which are helmets with incredible designs, good ventilation and low weight.

These are our recommendations to ride (and live) more safely aboard your Pulse. Now you and she will be protected against anything.
